Anchor v2 RC Is Here: 90% Smaller Programs, Fuzzing by Default

Anchor v2.0.0-rc.1 is a complete rewrite of Solana's most widely used program framework, rebuilt on Pinocchio with binaries over 90% smaller and compute costs three to six times lower than v1. The release candidate ships coverage-guided fuzzing through Crucible, plus a profiler, a step debugger, and LCOV coverage as first-class CLI subcommands.

Rain Launches the Agentic Payments Alliance With Visa, Mastercard, and Solana

Solana Mobile Launches Bug Bounty Program With Rewards Up to $75K in SKR

Solana Mobile has launched a Vulnerability Disclosure Policy and Bug Bounty Program that pays researchers up to $75,000 in SKR for critical vulnerabilities in Seed Vault, SKR's onchain programs, and Seeker Genesis Token infrastructure. Rewards are paid under a signed Award Agreement across four severity tiers, and a separate Security Grants program launched alongside it.

Solana School Returns This Fall With a Seven-Week Builder Track

Solana Foundation is running Solana School's Fall Class from August 31 through October 16, a free, seven-week, cohort-based program that ships working code every session, three times a week. Unlike the summer cohort, which required a college email, the Fall Class is open to any developer who applies, ending in a Demo Day pitched as practice for Colosseum.
