Mike Hale Solana is running Solana Accelerate China from October 16 to 22, 2026, a four-city tour opening in Shanghai and continuing through Hangzhou, Shenzhen, and Beijing. Registration is open now.
The tour is organized with @solana_zh, the Chinese-language Solana account, and it is pitched at developers, entrepreneurs, and investors rather than at a general crypto audience. The stated goal is connecting builders in China with the rest of the ecosystem, and the organizers describe the format as a chance to connect, showcase work, and look at emerging tech trends across both markets.
Solana ran a China roadshow in 2025, and the organizers say that is why they came back.

The four stops and their dates

Venues are only shown by district until you register. Shanghai is near Jiu Guang, Hangzhou in Hubin, Shenzhen in Nanshan, and Beijing in Chaoyang. Shenzhen is the longest day of the four at nine hours, and the two weekday afternoon stops in Hangzhou and Beijing are the shortest.
The route runs through China's financial center in Shanghai, its e-commerce hub in Hangzhou, its hardware and engineering center in Shenzhen, and its policy and venture capital seat in Beijing. With a day between each stop, pick the city that matches what you want out of it. Shanghai and Beijing suit anyone raising, and Shenzhen and Hangzhou suit anyone hiring or looking for technical collaborators.
Internet capital markets is the through-line
The theme Solana named for the tour is internet capital markets, the idea that companies and projects raise, issue, and trade capital directly onchain instead of through traditional venues. The organizers say the point is showing that internet capital markets are globally relevant, which puts the pitch at founders raising money and issuing assets onchain rather than at anyone who wants an introduction to Solana itself.
The framing lands differently here than it would elsewhere. Mainland China has banned cryptocurrency trading and mining since 2021, so a tour that leads with capital formation is speaking to developers who build for users in other markets.
